Haha, but I can't believe that I haven't posted in nearly a month :3 On the upside though, I've gotten my RP grove back! I'm like Stella, but whiter and with a less socially acceptable hobby~ But I'm back into tagging back, not letting threads go, and I've gotten some new interesting CR which is just wonderful. My Colette muse has been especially crazy active lately XD I need to get Maya some new CR to get excited about.

But speaking of RP... you guys need to stop me 3: I've made an account for Dahlia Hawthorne (

brbeatingmen), and the application is nearly done ldhsg;lhas /makes sad faces. I've never been able to handle five characters, but I really really want to play a villain, and I love that crazy redhead. But I really shouldn't play two characters from the same cannon but... but... hnnnnng, whatever. I'll replay cases of the third game, and see if I can write a good first person sample, I'll decide off of that~

Um, in other news I beat Mass Effect 2? Haha, it took me like a week, and I think I'm going to play some more today. After I do homework though! This weekend was so completely unproductive, it's sad. And I know I'll have to write my program sometime this week, just need to find time to do it XD

I guess, that's all? Time to do homework! Then I'll respond to tags, all that good stuff. So yeah, tell me about what's going on with you folks, and talk me out of rping Dahlia XD

Okay, I snorted at the Dahlia LJ name. XD Talk you out of RPing her? Uhhhh-- You'd have to do awful things to the cool male characters she meets! All that manipulating and heart-breaking and poisoning! It'd be ~~fun~~ TERRIBLE!

And as for what's going on with me, well, at this moment I'm trying to bleach a cosplay dress that's the wrong shade of blue. Apparently navy blue fabric - olive green rinse water = eggplant purple fabric. That doesn't make any freaking sense, I think high school art class lied to me.

I love it... so much. And I love icons of her to and just asdl;gkh;alsdh she's so awesome. Haha, and all of that is why I want to play her so bad :3 I probably will end up sending in the app /is hopeless

She would have a lot of potential to get into tangled webs of intrigue. Which is why I'd never play a character like that, myself, it'd take a lot of effort to do them justice. I considered playing Lien from the Temeraire books (who is sort of like Dahlia, in that she can make people love her even though she's bent on murdering her enemies), but the thought of playing out elaborate schemes made me want to go lie down. I'm guessing Maya's channeled!Dahlia loss only made the RP bug bite you harder?

Thanks. I should know better! I keep thinking, "Sure, I'll just tweak the colour a bit because the dye would logically work this way" and the garment is always like "LOL NO. :D"

Yeeeeep, and pretty much I was reading stuff about villains and it occurred to me that I've never played someone with evil intent. The closest I got was playing Arietta from TotA, and she's driven by instinct rather then a desire to harm other people.

The way I see it for Dahlia is generally she wouldn't be doing too much stabbity stab/poison whatever. She knows that she's outmatched physically with 90% of the castle, and killing people does nothing. Although once she finds out that when people die they get another loss... that would be valid punishment if they go against her. I'd just be interested in the two kinds of CR she'd have... people she's honest with, and people that she's just stringing along. Fffff she's fascinating.

Haha, I've heard the same is true for painting. I can't even.. ffff I have so much respect for you cosplayers that can pull this stuff off :)

True enough, the Paradisa setting would have a lot of potential for her character. Weeeeell, just don't overwhelm yourself!

Hee, every cosplay has dozens of hours of blood, sweat and flailing put into it. But it's worth it for stupid geeky Halloween! I'm going as Kumatora with my roommate as Duster, and at least his costume doesn't need fixing because we repaired it at-con last year with a stapler. Totally IC. XD
